Vacation Bible School
A quick reminder --
Vacation Bible School will be held this Saturday, July 29, beginning at 10 a.m., and ending at 3 p.m. Lunch will be provided.
VBS is a chance for a lot of folks.
First, it's an evangelism opportunity for children in the neighborhood. We bring the gospel to them.
Second, it's a chance for teaching and learning for children in the congregation, and those (think grandchildren, etc.) associated with the congregation.
Third, it's a chance for adults/older children to learn to serve. If you've wanted to "do something" at church, and hesitated because you didn't feel like you could make a long-range committment, here's a chance to do something that's for a day. And a chance to learn how things are done, and perhaps prepare you for further service later on. (Plus, it's fun. Plus, you get some pizza for lunch. : )
Even if you haven't already volunteered, just show up Saturday morning and help out. Or call Amy Huffman (336-227-0958) for more information.
