Gloria Hoffman Goes Home to Be With Her Lord
Gloria Hoffman, who was a long-time member of Redeemer, went home to be with her Lord today, January 2.
Gloria was known for her long years of service, and her kindly smile, and friendly ways. She had recently been living in Raleigh, near her son's home. She had cared for her husband, Howard, at home for many years while he suffered from Alzheimers. He passed away a few years ago. Her son John died several years ago.
Gloria's funeral service will probably be held this Friday at Redeemer, but final details have not been completed yet. We'll post further information when available.
Today Gloria heard her Lord's words, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant." (Matt. 25:21) We will miss her, but she is now in that place where her sufferings are past, and her service is rewarded.
